The one and only Oprah Winfrey (aka the legendary Miss Sophia), accompanied by the phenomenal ensemble of cast members, including Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, H.E.R., and Fantasia, huddled up to to get a first look at the official trailer of The Color Purple.
The epic cast and Lady O, clad in white robes, were seen eagerly awaiting the grand reveal of the trailer. As it played, the ladies’ faces lit up as they watched themselves star as iconic characters. Watch their reactions below:

With Blitz Bazawule, the visionary director behind “Black Is King” and “The Burial of Kojo,” at the helm, you just know this film will be an absolute masterpiece. And guess what?
