Tina Turner’s husband, Erwin Bach, is poised to inherit nearly half of her estimated $250 million fortune, according to recent reports.

The iconic “What’s Love Got to Do With It” singer tied the knot with the music producer a decade ago, following a remarkable 27-year romance. Erwin’s unwavering support for the Queen of Rock and Roll throughout her health struggles, including a life-saving kidney donation in 2017 and her battle with a stroke in 2013, further solidified their bond.

Tina Turner died on May 24th of natural causes within the comfort of her Switzerland home.

Dressed in solemn black attire and sporting sunglasses, Erwin Bach made his first appearance in front of their Küsnacht villa, Château Algonquin, on Wednesday. With a deep sense of grief, the 67-year-old German music executive meticulously tended to the heartfelt tributes left by devoted fans, friends, fellow artists, politicians, and even members of royalty, paying homage to his late wife.

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Afida Turner, Tina’s daughter-in-law and the widow of her late son Ronnie, shed light on the likely division of the star’s wealth, stating:

”As she married in Switzerland, I think around 47 per cent will go to the spouse and the rest to the children,” she said.

Afida Turner was married to Ronnie until his passing in 2022 at the age of 62 due to complications related to colon cancer.

Tina Turner’s family tree encompasses not only her biological children but also two sons she adopted from her abusive ex-husband, Ike Turner, and a son named Craig from a previous relationship. Tragically, Craig died by suicide in 2018, marking a profoundly sorrowful moment for Tina as a mother. Afida highlighted the unique familial connections, noting that the only blood-related descendants are Craig and Ronnie, as Tina never officially adopted Ike Jr.

“Tina’s two children are Craig and Ronnie – she never adopted Ike Jr,” Afida said.“It’s just because she was with Ike that they were in the family, so the only ‘blood’ descendants are Craig and Ronnie. Today I’m the only one with the name – there are no other Turners.”

Afida made it clear that her primary focus is to honor her mother-in-law’s legacy rather than monetary gain. Stressing her own financial independence, Afida stated, “I’m not here for that. I’m here to respect my mother-in-law. “I’ve always earned my own money – no one has ever given me anything in the Turner family – that’s the Turner way, OK.”

Tina’s substantial fortune, estimated at $250 million by Celebrity Net Worth, isn’t solely attributed to her chart-topping hits like “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero.”

The legendary performer also made her mark in the film industry with notable appearances in movies such as Tommy, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, and Last Action Hero. Her 1993 biopic, What’s Love Got to Do With It, showcased her path to success and the struggles she faced to retain her stage name during a painful divorce from her abusive ex-husband, Ike Turner, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 76.

Prior to her death, Tina made a lucrative deal, reportedly worth $50 million, by selling her image and music rights to BMG. She spent her final days in her lavish $76 million Swiss retreat, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy.
